Following my work experience with Handmade Theatre, I was asked if i wanted to come back to help with a Mural at Arnot Hill Park to commemorate 100 years of the park's history. This was a commisioned project by Nottingham City Arts working with Amy Nicholson (from Handmade Theatre) and Arnold's youth group Express Yourself. This project involved a lot of print making and stencils which were all created by the kids in Express Yourself in a workshop, the frames were designed by one of the kids in the group based off the leaves found in the park and the main 100 years frame created and cut out by someone else int he group. During the paining process we help a workshop with memebers of the comunity to add in the leaves, flowers and snowflakes to the wall, which really helped it to feel as though everyone in the community had some part in it.
